download rom manager from market and install clockwork mod from there
i'm installing now - can't wait!! i don't want to be an ass, and i think you can tell from my number of posts in LFY v1.4 how much i dig your roms, but are there any plans to port WM'D to this version?? this will be a first for me - i never go anywhere w/o stew's theme... i don't need an ETA or anything - just wondering if it's being considered.
thanks for the great work!!! dancedroid:icon_ banana:
what's the difference in lfy.zip and lfy flip.zip in the beautiful widgets skin download link?
Ok, I can do that, thanks
Now, how does clockworkmod recovery work? I assume it's going to replace SPRecovery that I have already, correct? How will a thing I download from the Market replace something on the boot recovery? To get SPR on before, I had to do it through RSD Lite.
so confused now this stuff is blowing my mind!
Hi, wow this looks nice.
rsd rooted your phone and installed spr by default. clockwork is the same type format but more user friendly. you can control everything the boot recovery does from the rom manager app. its much easier. you'll see
One's a flip clock (like the HTC sense clock) and the other isn't.
Hmmm, so I decided to just install 1.5 right over my BnB themed 1.4. Seems to be working ok. But I forgot to clean cache first. Should I redo it just to be on the safe side? Or just be glad it didn't screw anything up...so far?
Ack, bootlooping on installing BnB 1.2 theme
Trying all over again.
I'm trying this one out since I heard good things about it. Looks very nice, I really like the smoked theme.
The only issue I've seen so far is market force closes. I rebooted, and I'll be able to use market, download an app or two before it force closes again.
I wiped 3x, and installed using CW in this sequence:
Launcherpro Dock Skin
Pete's backup tool (Not sure how this works, says it works for all ROMS?)
I followed the instructions here: How To: Root the Motorola Droid (Android 2.0.1 & 2.1) | TheUnlockr to root on 2.1 and had a rooted 2.1 phone. I then put your rom on my phone immediately following and installed it following the directions and now when I went to reboot it is stuck in the Motorola logo screen when you first turn on the phone. Any idea what the issue is?
Looking good so far. I think a donation might be on the way! Keep up the good work!
