I think you should change your signature. So far you haven't been right about anything.

i don't think anyone using an iPhone will be doing any hunting... since the GPS sucks compared to Android :)

    That is all.

    it uses aGPS not GPS.

    the 'a' stands for assisted.

addendum: I hate myself right now, because technically the aGPS is an improvement over the traditional GPS. See what reading can do for me?:icon_eek: http://recomparison.com/comparisons/100473/comparison-of-gps-vs-agps/

    1. GPS relies on the satellites alone to calculate its position while AGPS relies on both the satellites and an assistance server
    2. AGPS receivers are mostly equipped on mobile phones while most standalone devices have GPS
    3. AGPS can be more reliable than GPS in certain situations
    4. AGPS can be faster in calculating the actual location than GPS
    5. GPS is generally free while AGPS can incur additional charges
    6. Some AGPS devices are capable of working as stand-alone GPS receivers once they go beyond network coverage

never thought you were being a wise guy!

I had to go back and edit my post anyway since I had my information garbled in my own head.

I was less than a week off of the announcement, and the launch seems to be within a week of my guess too....

Much closer than the people saying "Its not coming until 2012"... No names will be mentioned here.

Yes it is. A lot of people like to talk crap about iPhone users, and I don't want to see anyone saying "your wife must be dumb" or anything like that.

I love my original Droid but I gotta admit I'm going to be tempted to jump if VZW allows upgrades the same way ATT did last year.

I wouldn't think she was dumb. It takes a little bit of time to be able to use an Android phone efficiently. Ios is simple and easy to pick up and that's a great deal of its appeal. I think that everything that's happened points to an iPhone in the near future, but who knows, I could be wrong. If we do get it, it's cool with me. That means there will be more people that I can talk to for free.
