Liberty Boostrap Recovery Doesn't work for me

I have installed the Bootstrap recovery in Liberty Tool box but whenever I try going to Reboot > Reboot bootstrap recovery My Droid x just reboots, shows the Logo, then goes into a black screen and doesnt do anything. I then pull my battery then my phone starts up.

Have you try truning USB debugging off ? It work for me .
