A new teaser from LG for the release of the LG G6 puts an emphasis on reliability and quality checks. The teaser states "Reliability. Check, Check, Check." This indicates that LG has taken extra efforts to make sure their upcoming flagship will be totally reliable. Their past flagship devices including the G4, V10, G5, and V20 have been plagued with bootloop issues according to a very loud minority of users. Manufacturers are under increased scrutiny when it comes to quality control after the Note 7 mess. Another promo video that LG released last month suggested that LG may include low cost or free screen replacements since consumers had voiced their disdain for replacing cracked screens. Of course we can expect Gorilla Glass 5 on the G6 which is pretty shatter resistant at the cost of scratch resistance. Hopefully the LG G6 will be quite reliable. LG is certainly making reliability a top priority which is commendable.
