LG just shared an invite for an event they are holding on May 30th. They didn't give any details on what will be announced, but the picture that is included with the invite is quite telling. It is obviously a smartphone of some kind. More than likely it will be a new smartphone in the Optimus lineup, either the Optimus G2 or the Optimus Pro for a new U.S. carrier. We will follow events on that date closely and share details as they emerge.
