We aren't sure why LG has chosen to emphasize the one thing that many Android users wish would go away, but that's what they did. The South Korean company shared a press release that is accompanied by a video to show off their new UX 5.0 Android Skin on the LG G5.

Of course, to be fair, the average consumer doesn't really pay attention to whether an Android device has a custom user interface overlay or not, so it sorta makes sense for LG to share the different things their new G5 can do compared to other Android phones.

There's actually a few useful bits of flare that LG included this time around including: the ability to quickly re-install apps you've recently uninstalled, a world clock, a health app, and a camera that senses when you're posing. Not bad.

Be sure to check out the full press release and the demo video in the thread below. Also, don't forget to drop by our dedicated LG G5 section for further discussion: LG G5

Why in the world did they add a native RAM "cleaner". All they do is use more battery and slow your device down. The native Android garbage collection has gotten really good over the last few releases.

They did that for psychological reasons because some people feel they need to do it, so provide them a way to do what they don't need and all the bases are covered.
