LG Spectrum won't load Netflix app since updated to ICS

Hello, I recently received a LG spectrum from my boyfriend who bought it online everything was working fine on it till the ice cream sandwich update it seems like. Now my phone seems to be running slower with more lagging and the Netflix app won't work at all it starts to load then stops and flashes back to the home screen. Do I need to do a factory reset? I don't have many apps loaded on it. What's going on? Help!?!
