LG officially unveiled their latest device. It's a mid-range smartphone called the LG Class. It's distinguishing characteristic is that it is a metal-clad phone with an affordable pricetag. You can grab it for just $339 unlocked later this month. Here's the specs:
  • 5-inch 1280 x 720 display with “2.5D” curved glass
  • 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 16GB of storage
  • 13 megapixel rear camera
  • 8 megapixel front camera
  • LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC
  • 2,050mAh battery
  • Android 5.11 Lollipop
As you can see, the hardware isn't anything to get too excited about. In fact, even the price doesn't seem that appealing when you consider the 2013 Nexus 5 was $349 unlocked with better specs. The rumors suggest the next generation Nexus 5X will be start at a $399 price, and it should have dramatically better specs than this phone.

We aren't sure what market niche this phone actually fills?
