LG Not Sole Candidate for Google's New Nexus; Others Still In the Running

I would love to see a Motorola Droid Nexus as well. Motorola build quality is next to none and I feel that it would be as successful as the Droid 1. Look at how many people still use the Droid 1, due to its unlocked bootloader and rock solid build, and it has been out for 2.5 years. HTC had their two years to make one, Samsung has had their two years to make one, now its time for Motorola to get their two years at making one.

I think LG needs to improve their image as a high-end cell phone designer and manufacturer before they get a shot at a Nexus device.

Anyone think Sony could put out a Nexus device that would murk the competition? I've never owned a Sony-Ericsson phone, but now that the company is Sony Mobile Communications perhaps their Android offerings will improve. From what I've read/heard, their hardware appears to be rather good.
