LG G5 Has ROOT! and TWRP!

The LG G5 has been ROOTED! Team Codefire has uploaded a video showing the LG G5 give rooted app root permissions. The video then goes on to show the phone boot into Team Win Recovery Project. The team has made it pretty clear that they do not have an ETA .

While their phone is rooted chances are they have bricked a dozen or more phones in the process. They will spend the next several days tweaking the process to make it as safe as possible. Who knows maybe we will be fortunate enough to get a one click app. Jcase and TheRoot.ninja have done this for us on certain devices in the past.

Either way we should have root on our devices very soon!

This is awesome news, but it's not likely the Sprint variant, and Team Codefire has been known to sell root access in the past.
