For folks who actually want to be productive with their tablets, LG's latest invention might prove useful. It's called "The Rolly Keyboard" (model KBB-700), and it's basically a foldable bluetooth keyboard that is nearly the same size as your standard PC keyboard.

The Rolly is a Bluetooth 3.0 keyboard in which 4 rows of keys fold up on a central "stick." You can check out the video above for a demo of the device. No details on pricing or availability were revealed at this time, but we will get to see it live at IFA in September.

How many of our members out there could use something like this?

Could've used it in school 2yrs ago when my Nexus 7 was my device of choice for classes.

Very cool though.

This could potentially stave off my wife's cravings for a Surface, depending on the price point.

Not Just for Tablets but Any Smartphone would do. Could use it with my Note5.

The other day I saw a woman with a full size Apple bluetooth keyboard connected to an iPhone 5S. She was typing like a mad woman trying to finish a paper or something. It was funny because she was on the edge of her seat and the place she was sitting was crowded with others. The full size keyboard took up most of her thigh room, and the little iPhone screen was rolling by with on screen letters and numbers.

As silly as it looked, the best part about that Apple keyboard is that it's solid all the way around, so she could sit it on her lap, and not worry about stability. I don't see "The Rolly" as a use case design for those traveling without a table to sit the keyboard on.

The Dual pairing mode is cool though. I can honestly say that I have never seen that before.

I have a Surface 2 Pro with the keyboard. Its not bad but I find myself not able to type anywhere near as fast as I can with such a small keyboard. I'd rather lug a full size keyboard around then some little thing that my hands don't fit on.
