Yeah it was beautiful in central Va also.
Madelyn has been stuck inside with a stomach virus and strep since Wednesday, finally got out in the sunshine today

Here the photo isn't so spectacular but what it means gave me goose bumps. Sport Mode, overcast outside.
I went to my daughter's school to pick her up and the children were outside listening to 2 musicians playing their bagpipes. As they were playing Amazing Grace a Blackhawk helicopter flew overhead as the flag flew majestically in the warm spring breeze.
The symbolism of the children being free of fear, the freedom to play a religious, as some who offer their lives to protect those freedoms flew over top of the symbol of those freedoms was awesome .
The musicians are just to the left of the big tree and facing toward the left of the photo and the children (k-5th grade) are sitting on the grass and sidewalk in the center garden area of the school, the music and helicopter rotor/engine sounds echoes off the walls of the garden area behind them
