Let's not forget why we are all here. We don't do any of this for fame and glory. We don't do things for money. We are here for the fun of it all. Every one of us started out not knowing much of anything. We saw something we liked and we wanted to learn more. Many of us here are not techy types. I for one used the guides available back december to root. I am still no coder or aspire to be one. I liked the abilities rooting gave me. It made my phone more fun for me to use with more options. I used this to help others and pass on the things I learned. Others have done this as well. We didn't do it because we had to, we enjoyed it. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Being an early member I have seen this place grow and thrive. I have also seen the other side of things. The explosion and eventual fall of Alldroid, the UD/Cyanogen scandal, and others. All these things point to one problem. We, as a community, forgot why we are here. I know why I am here. I have met some of the nicest most sincere people. People from Maine to Hawaii, twice my age to almost half my age. And all have made a huge impression on me. I think of many of them as true friends. It makes me smile to think I never would have met them if not for a silly phone. But every day I come here, I read new things meet a few more people and have a little more fun with my phone. If we all can step back and not forget why we got into this there is no stopping this community. So let's all keep hacking, and keep happy. Because in the end, its all for fun.
