    Hi!,
I have a Lenovo a6000 plus. Some days ago there was a lollipop update for it which weighed 1092 MB. But it was withdrawn by Lenovo as it had many bugs. So I could not update my phone. Yesterday again I got an update of 1124 mb and it seems that it is for lollipop 5.0.2. Is it a safe update? Should I go for it? Pls help me. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum ...I'm not familiar with your phone not sure if anyone here is using one ...I'd wait for some reports and as always with OS upgrades be prepared for a factory reset of phone which I usually recommend on upgrading ...

General rule of updating : Wait and seek information first from those who had updated.

Welcome to the Forum. If the update is from Lenovo, I'm sure it's safe. Is it bug free? I doubt it as what is really bug free these days.
You can update or wait for others to report about the update. Personally, I would update..

Welcome! Personally, I always go ahead and take an update. If nothing else, it helps me spot bugs and find ways to work around them, deal with them, or squash them.

As others have said, that's not a super common phone, so I wouldn't wait forever to update it, hoping to find reviews of the update.

If they pulled the previous update due to bugs, you have to have a bit of faith that they've gotten rid of the worst of them.

As @Jeffrey said, there will pretty much always be bugs. Like @bkdodger said, a factory reset will often clean up most little bugs with a major OS update.

There's a fine line. Updates will have their bugs, but they also often contain security patches and other fixes for things that you definitely want fixed.

If you do go ahead and take the update right away, don't be shy! We're here to help each other with bugs they may encounter with their devices!

LIke the others have said, I'd update to the latest.

Being a developer this image fits perfectly.
