LED notification not working

    made sure all the options are correct. anybody? using handcent, email LED doesn't work either.

    looks like email led is working. Handcent problem?

    I'm having the same issue, Handcent's LED notification isn't working for me either. I've switched back to the default messaging app until they fix it...

    I rooted my phone and I thought the same thing but looks like in 2.1 they have disabled the led for when the screen is turned on. Check with your screen turned off.

    confirmed. I like it the other way. hopefully they fix it.

    Same here. I guess we'll have to get used to the way it is for now.

    I had the same problem. Go to settings -sound and display and make sure both items are checked in pulse light with screen on and the one above that. Worked for me

    Pretty sure this guy has Cyanogen Mod (I have CM and I have this option) or something and doesn't realize that the majority of people don't have this option.

    Your LEDs won't show when your screen is on in 2.1. Apparently it's for battery saving purposes, but I think you should have the option anyways. I doubt it takes up much battery at all.

    I do have cyanogen, did not know these options were not available to all, sorry :/
