I see you fixed this but for anyone else that wants all the lights to be solid or blinking, the functionality seems to be tied to the "Succession" setting under LED notifications.

    To make it remain solid:
    - Click "Succession" and click "Cancel" at the prompt.
    - OR Click "Succession", click "Ok" at the prompt, and leave the checkbox checked. Lights will remain solid but alternate if different colors are specified for different events.

    To make it blink:
    - Click "Succession", click "Ok" at the prompt, and then uncheck the checkbox.

The problem I am having is that on Froyo, I was able to get some lights to blink while getting others (like Handcent) to remain solid. This is something I can't figure out how to do on CM7....it seems to be an all or nothing deal.

I don't have a Droid~ but thank you for this. I hate finding threads where someone has a problem, they fix it, but don't say how they did it. Total lame on them.

    You rock. :)

Sounds like you are trying to get them to remain solid.....you may need to

    1) Click "Reset" under the LED Advanced settings to reset all your LED notifications settings.
    2) Follow my instructions in my original post for getting it to remain solid
    3) Go through your LED notification apps and reset all your colors. When you do this, make sure you don't touch the Blink Rate.......when the LED notification settings are reset, the blink rate values should all be erased. Blink rate doesn't seem to work on the Droid anyway but I'm pretty sure setting them may override this trick with "Succession".

Note: I tested all this on Winner's RC3 build. Have not tried it on RC4 or later but I don't think any of the LED settings were changed....I admit that I haven't been following the change logs too closely to tell though.

Let us know how it works.

The whole LED notification menu seems confusing. What are catagories, and how do they work?
I can't seem to get the "blink rate" menu to deselect all options. I hit reset, but the blink menu still has a selected option for Calendar, Email, Gmail, and Google Voice.
I'm using CM 6.1.2. What version do you have?

I have the same issue on my phone running Chevy's rom that's based off of CM. Not sure what version of CM it is but I'm running the latest 5.2

Sent from my Droid using DroidForums

That explains it....behavior in 6.1.2 was completely different.

The behavior I described only seems to apply to CM7.

You could try using Titanium backup to erase all the CM Settings (wipe data) but with 6.1.2, I'm not sure it will completely solve your problem.

Mad props, Artimis. Had this happening for a few weeks on Chevy's SS5.2, and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't reset. Checking/clearing Succession took care of it!
