I know there is an LED hack so you can turn this off. Which a lot of sedio extended battery users have been using. It would be great if this hack was modified to be able to only turn off low battery led light notification so that all other notification lights continue to go through such as texts and emails. Being one who keeps there phoen on vibrate i live off the led notifications and would love to shut the red one off for battery low cause i know its wrong with my seidio extended!

    Thanks

would it be as simple as taking out a line of code that tells it to blink the led light red when battery reaches a certain level?

    bump.

.... In the same boat here. The low-batt indicator is what I do not need to see for hours. W/ the larger Seidio battery my droid will remain powered LONG after it 'believes' the battery is low, hence the hours of a flashing red low-battery indicator.

I'm sure it is as simple as a line of code change, I just haven't gotten anywhere close to making/modding my own hacks....

    soon though (I hope).

I have the extended battery, I just reboot my phone and the battery level resets.

yes, this is true. However that is almost as annoying as the blinking LED...

sure does make it go away for a good while though :)

the Missed Call app has a battery service. you can change the LED setting there. just make on 0 and off 0. i use this for changing LED colors for emails, textsa, and specific people bc i also live off vibrate

I ran across this app from another forum and gave it a whirl last night, if it is the same App, there were 2 versions depending on the firmware version.

However, after trying out both of them, my experience was that neither of the 2 versions could make those modifications to the battery notification LED. I believe it said they were not supported yet.

I will check them out again, perhaps I fudged something up...

    Thanks for the heads up!

hmmm. the app i use is just called Missed Call, by Anno. the icon is an orange square with a little droid phone in the middle. from what im reading in the comments section tho theres an issue with it on 2.1.
im running a rooted 2.0.1 still
smoked glass v6. i cant give it up. ive got all the features of 2.1, just not the official update. im not updating until i can get a rom that overclocks with 5+ home screens
