With the release of the HTC One A9 Htc made a promise that they would deliver updates no more than 15 days after the Nexus phones received their updates. If they are able to keep this promise, and are able to get maintain this kind of consistency and speed with devices going forward and older devices this may be enough to keep the company afloat.
The entire Software Update plan sheet for the first half of 2016 has been leaked thanks to "llabtoofer". It shows that nearly all flagship and midrange HTC handsets released this year will have either Android 6.0 or 6.0.1 by the middle of the year. This is great news! The devices will also receive Sense 7.0. Some devices are still in evaluation so nothing is guarunteed. Head to the source link to see the entire diagram.
