I was told a while ago by matt not to mess with lcd density if I'm on stock rooted rom and I was just wondering if anyone knows a work around.

I don't want to load up any of the roms available because they don't suit my needs, but I really want to lower the density a lot.

Whenever I try to reboot after changing the density, after the M I get a blank screen but the screen is lit on. I then have to load a back up.

Any help or tips are appreciated.
