I downloaded LauncherPro and it didn't appear in the app drawer. I had to download home switcher to use it. Is this a sense thing? Are others experiencing this? I never had to do this on the og Droid.

It doesn't appear in my app drawer either; to access it I tap the "Home" button on the bottom left and it gives the choice between LP and HTC Sense.

I must have toggled sense as the default somehow. Oh well.

Use home manager from the market. You can switch between launchers , add other launchers and auto kill the launchers your not using so they are not running in the back ground.
