This is not really BB related, but I am running that ROM and figured I would let you fellow BB'rs know that Launcher Pro beta is in the Market. This may be old news, but I have to say that it is pure bad ass....runs super super smooth with BB. It also has a much better app drawer as far as scrolling goes as well. It also shows all 5-7 screens much nicer than any other launcher I have used...I think this is similar to HTC's sense ui multi screen view.

    definitely check it out!

Agreed that it is awesome. SO fast and smooth, no more lag like with home++.

Once it has customizable sticky icons it will be perfect

I love the fade in app drawer

It's definitely smooth but what's up with the preinstalled shortcuts?
There's really no need for a phone and a contact shortcut. It's redundant.
Hopefully they make that customizable in an update.

That's an opinion (IMO). I personally use both the phone icon and contacts icon depending on what I am doing. An option to customize the bottom icons would be the best so that the user can decide. I still can't get over how much faster my droid is overall from this launcher. I wonder if it is actually performing better or if the launcher can control the speed at which the screens slide etc.

Saw it over on Droid Life. Tried it and already ditched it. I don't like the fixed and unchangeable bottom icons. I didn't see any improvement over what BB comes with.
