    But Glad I Came

I used to scoff at 'smart' phones, stubbornly hanging on to my Samsung-thats-so-old-I don't-know-the-model, POS pre-paid cell. Swore that cell phones need to be kept simple. Leave 'apps' for a real computer.

Then I saw a tricked out Iphone.

Then I saw a tricked out Droid.

I prayed for Steve Jobs to find his soul again.

    Now I have a Droid 2. :)

Great forum and very helpful senior members!!

I think you made a good choice in your leap into the smart phone scene. You're going to love your new Droid 2, and you'll find a lot of information about it and also some very helpful people here on DF. Welcome to the site.

    Agreed and thnx all!

I'm spreading the affliction too. Showed a few buddies the tricorder app that actually has functioning scanners on it--one had a total nerdgasm I think the other got photosensitive epilepsy for about 5 mins.
