Does the LapDock have a plug for the HDMI so you can plug it to your TV?

No, it does not 
I actually like the lapdock a lot, but it is disappointing that it doesn't have HDMI out . It has 2 usb ports. I think it should definitely have an HDMI-out - They probably want you to buy the lapdock and the HDMI Dock.
