Landscape mode

Hello, everyone:

When I boot up my Droid and go to Settings, they show up in landscape mode, and I can't get them to change to portrait mode. My phone is the Droid.
Is this a glitch?

Sounds like your accelerator may be very sensitive. Often, when I remove mine from the dock it stays in landscape. A good shake rectifies.

Thank you! I will try this. This problem goes away after I've had the phone on for a while.
What's the accelerator do?

Accelerometer; Noun: An instrument for measuring the acceleration of aircraft or rockets.

Or in this case, our Droids. Think of it as a gyroscope and you won't be too far off.
