Landscape keyboard

It sure would be nice if the space bar was just a bit wider in the land scape view, my thumb keeps hitting the period key.
I need bigger hands

I actually am finding this as well. I think it's a learning curve and after a while it'll be no problem. I also find that I keep reaching with the wrong hand to type letters that used to be in reach on my Droid1.

Yup, it's like the the keys on either end could be made smaller and make the space bar bigger.

How can I customize the keyboard on Droid X

Space bar is too narrow, i keep hitting . between all my words while typing. how can i customize the keyboard to widen the space bar?

I've been using the HTC IME keyboard customized by gimpsta. Works like a charm. Best keyboard for any Droid.

Personally I use and LOVE "Smart Keyboard Pro". IMHO it's the best one I've used. Makes entering punctuation and numbers so much faster.
