I've always used Swype. I haven't been able to find the input setting since updating to Kit Kat.

Welcome aboard...if you have swype downloaded on your device, you should see it under "language and input" in system settings....if it is not there, you can download from the Play Store and try to enable it that way...

What model phone do you have? Some phones that came with Swype preloaded do not have that option anymore after recent KitKat updates.
