So the actual phone audio, (being able to talk and hear the person calling) works or not. Im confused on how it was worded.
That was the only issue i had with ICS roms.

Yes you can make calls, hear and talk. Sound for games, movies and music does not work. I'm not sure if ringtones do....I don't get alot of calls and am back to stock at the moment.

The kexec kernel allows for a fully functional ROM....the CM9 is being worked on because of some sound and modem issues. CM10 will be the same, fully JB. The kexec kernel allows it to be full from source built. That's what was lacking before. The current ICS ports are using the GB kernel and drivers. Now we have the ICS kernel and from scratch drivers.

ok. let me make sure i understand this correctly.

so when everything is worked out this will be a fully functional version of ICS for the D3? Theoretically there will be no issues?

Looks like there are still some sleep issues to work through == high battery drain on this build.

Battery charge level: there might be some battery level differences over first few hours if you were using alpha 2.

Still very alpha with a lot to work on.

You bring up a good point.

I made a very important change in Safestrap, that I may need to undo.

Many users were experiencing low battery and then unable to get to charge mode. And this was causing a sort of "stuck" behavior.

I made this latest Safestrap bypass the 2nd rom if booted while plugged into ac power. This should allow for charge mode under any circumstance.

The downside is that if you reboot while plugged in, your going to bypass the 2nd rom. I'll come up with a better option for the future which avoids the confusion.

Im having some issues, curious if anyone else is having the same...

Long press home does nothing (no recent apps list)
Pressing home while in an app does nothing (not returning to home screen)
Search button does nothing, short or long press
Added gmail account but contacts do not sync (no option to sync contacts)

Think I may have the wrong gapps.zip? Got it from hash's site. http://rombot.droidhive.com/ROMs/gapps/

I have wiped, formatted system, new safestrap, etc., etc.

This is being done on my spare D3, so no immediate fix needed.
