What are others experience at least with the 0.2 kernels when it comes to overclocking and battery life.... i would like to overclock a bit more than I do (800mhz currently) but dont want to put up too much battery life for it..... and low to standard to increased voltages...... how about those?

These are completely different than V0.2 so results will not be relevant. Only way to see is to test it out :)

With the .2 kernels I ran at 1 GHz perfectly fine. Battery life was good for me. I really don't know about the voltages. I ran a LV one but I'm going to try the 1 GHz SV .3 kernel.

Well, I guess a perfect time to have 2 days in a row off work... will start testing now.... I'm gonna start testing on gpa15 stable.... once I find exactly what i like in speed and voltage I will move on to 2.3.4 betas with the same kernel.....in general, would higher voltage if it works ok with your phone usually get more performance? If not, what is the point in a higher voltage?

They're designed for GPA and BB.

Yeah higher voltage would get better performance but less battery life.

I love the LV 600 one. Always have. I run it at 125/600 on his GPA's and it's always been great. Nice work Pete.

question: what is the kernel voltage on GPA16 currently?

i'm asking because i would like to keep the same voltage as the kernel on latest GPA16 build. its been running great for me so far at 800mhz. like really great.

should i even update to these kernels?

Peter had said that the 0.2 worked with any GB rom, like CM7 etc, isn't that right Peter?

Sent from my Droid using DroidForums

I would assume they work on any GB Rom(maybe Froyo).

To be safe, make a nandroid backup first and then try it out. Worst comes to worst, just restore the backup :)
