What I meant was, any reason not to under clock lower to 125mhz?

Like take the 900 slot out and add a 125 low end.

I know some people were saying 125 was affecting the phone waking up, but I never had a problem when running a kernel with a 125 low end.

Seemed to save a couple hours of battery for me.

Oh I see, yeah the 125 slot for most was too low to run processes at idle. It all depends on what apps you have running on your phone. The voltage differences are negligible at those low slots though. The 800MHz kernel has that slot if you would like it.

Cool, I like the 1ghz though. Seems like a good fit. :)

Thanks for the info and keep up the good work.

Only reason I don't want to is because no one can tell me what stuff I don't need in these kernels (the ext2/3/4 files specifically). I've never done this and I don't want to totally bork my phone.

I dont need most of the extra stuff but it causes no harm having it there. If they are not used it is taking up no resources. Flash away and enjoy.

I'll flash it when I have time... If I'm gonna bork it, I'll bork it on my day off so I can have time to fix it (and to see if I even like it)

    naming pattern

I just flashed the SV .8ghz and noticed the kernel version does not tell you what version you flashed (blatantly anyway). The old kernels let you know what you flashed.

The new naming (kernel version) 2.6.39.9-peteralfansoroot@pete#16 is the SV

The LV (just flashed) stays the same until you get to the final number @pete#15

    Just a heads up .

So far all running smooth. Fantastic. Thank you Pete.

I'm in search of a cool running kernel. I've tried virtually every combination and my temps quickly jump to above 50C. Set CPU profile triggers and temps drop pretty quickly at 400 Max. This problem has existed since I got a CLN replacement for my OG Droid months ago. Even clocking at 600 Max temps rise when data transfer is high like in maps. I've tried ulv, lv, sv. All the same.
    Any suggestions?
Edit : dmesg reports nand_resume called on a chip not in suspended state every minute or less.
