    This is the kernels thread.

    ROM Thread

People seem to enjoy my kernels, so I made a little set. These currently only work for Froyo.

I have here what I consider to be low voltage 800 through 1250 mhz linux version 2.6.32.9 kernels.
They include a full set of modules (wifi, ipv6, most everything else) including compcache if you so desire.

will work up a CGI script to package them up

the 1250 has been fixed, turns out I didnt use the wrong zImage, I used the wrong config file to make the whole thing. I replaced the zImage-1250 and the 1250 zip on my server :)

Thanks for these! I have been referring people to your kernels for GB. I hope you don't mind that I put a link to them in my sig. People seem to really like them! I have had wonderful luck with them and they run very well. Im excited to run these too. Thanks again for your hard work! It is much appreciated!

Probably not but try it out. If the d2 has the same hardware it might work

Nice... going to try the 900mhz one now.

Any plans for some low voltage gb kernels? I don't know yet it the battery life with gb is because of kernels? Or if it's the gingerbread source everyone's using. I'm seeing battery life complaints across the board with gb... and certainly have experienced it myself :'-(

So far... smooth as butter, and running really cool (not over 35 C)!!! Anxious to see how battery life is...

Less voltage = less heat = less power consumed = longer battery life ;)

    ROM manager

So I assume we cannot use it with ROM manager.
How do I install this recovery on D1?

    Thanks

It's just an update.zip, flash it like any other... but I think you meant to post in the recovery thread ;)

And that's what I obviously think, but every gb rom I try kills my battery...
