Yes, exactly. Your phone probably needs more voltage.

That's why I recommended an 800 MHz SV kernel. Almost all droids should be able to run that.

you don't need adb if you can get your droid to show up as a USB device in windows while in clockworkmod. adb is just another way to communicate with your phone through a pc, it is the android developer kit.

whats adb? im not acronym savvy

Android Developer (or maybe Debug haha) Bridge. You won't need that, but that would have been the next step if your problem was more serious. You could have flashed sprecovery through that if your recovery was gone.

Edit: Haha, Brochaos and I are simulposting and doubleteaming to help :)

We are just trying to get you on a safe kernel that will definitely run so you can make a backup. After that, you can experiment with faster kernels; you just need a good backup first.

Do the 800 SV for now :)
We'll worry about speed tomorrow.
It's my bedtime as soon as you are running again :)

sv? small voltage?

i figured mv would be ok, medium voltage?

Sorry man, it's all I know. Should I stay away from Chevy1 and use something else like p3?

sv=standard voltage
chevys kernels are as stable as p3s, its just that the kernel you chose your phone didnt like.

SV=standard voltage, same as medium voltage.

You could try P3 if the chevy MV doesn't work.

P3Droid Kernels & choose 2.2 froyo

Get your rest, ill take over from here :)

Thanks, I will take you up on that.

my thoughts as well. once you have a safe nandroid, experiment away!

i run p3droid's kernels myself.
