In the beginning while getting everything done it was a little warm, but it's been cool since.

I was on stock, but started testing others (currently on Pete's) to see how battery life does. The stock kernel was running a bit hot, and sucked down my battery juice like Brittney Spears with a bottle of Boone's Farm.

Can you do me a favor and see if you get any choppiness with the video camera with petes kernel? So far only rzs have given me the choppiness. Slayher and chevy kernals make the videos smooth.

No choppiness here, however when I replay my videos on the droid they are all stretched out weird (to the point of being unwatchable). The aspect ratio of the preview image is OK, so I'll have to transfer them to my computer and see if it's a recording issue that I can't live with, or a playback issue that I can deal with. (Tried playback through other programs on the droid, which still have the problem)

I started with stock, all good. Moved to RZ standard voltage, worked good too. Right now on Pete's. Battery seems better on this one. The only thing that bugs me is having 3G or wifi start up lag after calls. That is why i am changing kernels. Thinking maybe one would be better that another for that. No joy so far.

how do i switch from interactive to ondemand? Im trying dif kernals and setups and everytime i go into the perfromance section i switch to ondemand but it always goes back to interactive on petes kernal. Whats the difference between on demand on interactive anyways? I just need better battery life mine is horrrriibbblleee. Not a knock against the rom at all because its bad no matter what rom im on. Had this same phone since novemeber of 09. (phones seen better days)

I wasn't able to get compcache working using Pete's, so I'm not sure if he built that functionality in. What I did to get compcache working was to use Prime's reprimed kernel which seems to work well with this ROM even though it is "written" for CM7. I just finished setting it up today so I don't know about any issues (camera, battery life, FC's, etc.) but so far it's working fine.
