The p3 kernels that I've been using all have the CPU temp on them.

Really? I've been running his 1G Hz. Kernal and SS 4.3 and all I have is battery temp in setcpu. I am however running an older version of setcpu because I despise change. LOL

It appears I am misinformed. You are correct about setCPU is battery temp.

However makes me curious how the battery can pick up and drop heat in a hurry according to the widget. The battery area doesn't feel warm but the processor area is warmer "reflecting" a change to the feel. Hmmm
