I also agree, the ability to monitor is very important...

But the consistent stability of Chevy's kernels have been what's kept me coming for them (and donating when I can). I've never seen that level of stability with anyone else's kernels.

Im not exactly sure which u are referring to but, I use android system info, as well I have System Panel installed & in Setcpu "info" tab....all of them display the real time clock speed as well as in "android system info" app it logs & shows "time in state" history, which setcpu provides as well.....Im not knocking on other devs kernels, but I have found that Chevys are the only kernels that every kernel provides that info, I have found that most other devs kernels only thier 800mhz seems to provide that info if at all....(i think cvpcs kernels provide all that info to but they are not very stable on my d1)

Will these kernels work in other roms. I have LGB 1.3 and the stock kernel is acting funny.

Sorry if this is a dumb question.

    Chevy,

I tried it and all I got was bootloop at the motorola logo.

Oh well. Was worth a try. I have a raidzero kernel and its sucking down the battery.

Tried 'it'? I have 15 kernels ... which one? Did you try any others?

Sorry. I tried all of the low voltage ones. None of them work. I run them so the phone doesn't get hot.

Should I try the med voltage ones?

    Thanks

ahhh - I think I know the problem. You came from LGB? There is something messed up with the boot image in those ROM's - because my kernel installs try to retain part of the image (as do all other kernels), it fails when writing. That is why you are getting a bootloop. Someone should ask LGB to ensure their boot image is 'full and correct'. Try this one:

Chevy, can you confirm for me that these are not netfilter-enabled kernels?

If that's the case, do you foresee making a series netfilter-enabled, or am I FUBAR with CM7 Android 2.3.3?

Unless I missed something (which could be!) - these should have netfilter enabled - what are you trying to run that is failing?
