Kaos v34 - slower?

I was running Cyanogen's v28, just wiped & updated to v34.
Seems MUCH slower. ADW is pretty laggy. Seems as though when I unlock the phone I have to wait 5 - 10 seconds before I try to switch screens, etc.

Anyone else having similar experience? Froyo is great, but it's a little painful to do simple tasks on my phone when I always have to wait a few seconds.

* Yes, I know, it was my choice to root - if I don't like it, go back, etc.

I am using v34 right now, i flashed from v32 since i missed the v33 update; if anything my phone has sped up quite a bit, mine lags a tad bit wen i unlock it, but its only like a second and i can switch screens no problem. You might try launcherpro, its in the market and it is free, install it and test whether or not it lags.
