K9 email picture problems

This only started happening a little while ago but everytime I know get an email with pictures and I click the show pictures button all my pictures are a outlined box with a symbol in the middle. Now the pictures do appear at the end of the email with little previews but I have to open each one up with a program plus it always duplicates these pictures.

Does anyone have an idea of why this is happening?

what version are do you have loaded? the latest is 2.512 and available here.

I have the version from the market, I tried 2511 and 2512 and had some issues with my Dropouts so I went back to the market version. Pictures worked before I tried the updates and now going back to the market version they still are not back.

why doesn't it update through the market

I've been using this and like it. I'm wondering why the updates don't come through the market. I updated manually today because of the info above, but never even thought to look because most seem to do it automatically through the market. Is this common with other apps as well?
