I just rebooted my Droid after following the instructions found here:
Root Motorola Droid on Android 2.0.1 | Redmond Pie

Now, my cell signal meter has zero bars and an "x" and when making a call, I get a message reading "not registered on network". Any advice?

No, it's a pop up box.

Not yet, just the initial reboot right after installing the update.zip

Everything is running smoothly, just no signal. For my phone number, carrier, amongst other things, "unknown" is listed.

Okay, so I have a signal again. But now whenever I open up the dialer, I get a FC. Activity Dialer is not responding...

EDIT: Everything back to 100% now. Dialer is working, my signal is back, everything is working. Thanks for the assistance!
