Just rooted DX now stuck at M logo

So I rooted my Dx today using z4root and was wondering where to go from here. I have downloaded root tools and played with that. I am looking at changing my notification bar getting rid of the vzw header and other things. Thanks. Oh and I am thinking it might be helpful letting you know I have a Mac, most everything I have seen is for evil windows users.

Now I need help bad. I just changed my font and boot animation like I have before using root tools and now that I changed the boot animation to jurassic park all I get is the M when I turn it back on. I have access to a windows running xp. I need help please. I read on here that my phone is not bricked just that I more than likely lost root. Once again I ask for your help thanks.

Hi, I hope you did a backup of your stock op system, if not, it sounds like you're going to have to sbf back to stock. Did you install boot strap? Let us what you have and have not done so we can help you out.

Droid X. Rooted with Z4root and undervolted to save battery life, with jrummy's overclocking app

Do not have bootstrap. I have not backed up but am not worried about that since I had a program that was causing problems anyways and was going to do a wipe anyways. I am a noob to the whole rooting. I am in the process of downloading the update zip file and load that.

I think I know why I am stuck at the M now. I was just looking at my sd card in the root tools folder and there was no bootanimation.zip in the jurassic file folder. I put one in from one of the other folders but that did nothing.

can you boot into android? as in, can you get past the "M"?

if not, pull out your battery, put it back in, while holding down power, hold home, you should see a ! with an android icon, press search, go to wipe data, factory reset

do that and reboot, you should be able to get back into android, from there, please look in my signature and read the post "First Step Post Root - Nandroid Backups"
that will teach you about the bootstrapper and from there (if you wish) you can flash my maderstcok file

I have tried that about 100 times and still stuck at the M logo. How would I go about flashing your file??? All I want is my X back so I dont have to deal with my Driod 1.
