I've never really provided much information on this forum, just scan it endlessly and occasionally ask questions. Since I have some actual input for once, I'll share my OPINION.

I was trying to find a good GB ROM. When I first rooted, I was 100% BB. Then around Froyo time, I started having issues with Pete's ROMs. I tried a couple releases in a row, and had issues with both. I expanded my horizons quite a bit, trying out DE, SS, Liquid, metiCk, UD, and others. I liked most of them, had some minor issues with one or two. But I stuck with UD for a long time, and enjoyed the options. It's a great ROM, but I have ADD and OCD plus an unnatural attraction to my phone. UD 3.0 then 3.0.1 were too much and I had to limit my options or I would end up fired and divorced. Anyway, sorry for the babbling.

I am now using Pete's GPA12 with his 1.25 LV kernal. So far, flawless except he seems to have killed a*planet (kidding). No problems, I get enough customization with ADW, and my wife no longer threatens to flush my phone.

For anyone looking for a good and stable GB ROM, check it out. Good stuff.

Its good to know I'm not the only one. My girlfriend has been all types of pissed off at me and my phone. I bet there's a million of us.

I am with you guys on the fully functioning GB roms and finally found project elite 5.0.2 in which I am able to lock in sms, mms in the setting menu they provided as a solution to being in the dog house with the fiancée. Everything else works awesome on PE 5.0.2.

But thanks to this thread I am loading up that GPA12 for a test drive.

Also, Thanks to the OP for sharing as your opinion. Much appreciated.

Thats funny...my wife was just threatening to leave if I don't put the phone down....told her I'd help her pack as soon as I was done flashing it and reloading...

I'm kidding...the phone can flash on its own and I can reload it after her car is packed.

    WHAT?

My girlfriend said I would leave her for my phone if I could. I said back "Its got apps to help me find food, transportation and a place to live..... and porn..... I just might."

That being said I have the best luck with Project Elite GB. Outside of the 3G issue (that some don't have, I'm one of the unlucky ones) its been perfect.

I had the 3g issue with v5 but after updating to 5.0.2 it is fixed. Are you on the update?

hahaha. Great post! I'm a little luckier than most here. As long as I can keep my girlfriends Eris as unique as I keep my Droid, she is one happy camper. Thanks for the input tho on Petes GPA 12.
