Lol I don't know why but I just noticed your name was fuelslut and I found it funny.
Yeah so just check your task manager occasionally to see if there are any apps using cpu% that shouldn't be running or even open. And there is a list of apps that consumed a large percent of your battery in the Battery settings. Also you can check out the comments in the market, people will usually note a battery killer there .. or just google ur app and see what comes up.
..so that's about it for rogue apps lol

Edit: Oh btw if your phone is low on battery and you still need to use it, just go into airplane mode and turn ur brightness all the way down. Really extends your battery life in those crucial moments you need it. I was at like 12% so I shut every feature off and it lasted for 2.5 hours. It was at 5% when I put it on the charger at home
