I'm going to give this a try with Nandroid. I Flashed this earlier today via clockwork, and I must say I was really impressed! The only thing that has me concerned is the recovery image. I know that Koush and the Cyanogen team are TRUE devs, I just get nervous not really knowing a whole lot about their system. I will most likely end up learning more about their way of doing things. It was like the first time I rooted my Droid, I was just staring at my device the whole time, hoping that nothing was going to break...After I accomplished everything, I thought about it and it was really quite simple. I have never used DMUpdater, but I have a feeling that Rom Manager (download from the Market) is very similar for clockwork, as DMUpdater is for SPRecovery. Right?

Let me guess... you haven't tried restoring this yet. It won't work. It is incompatible withsprecovery. Why dop you think he used clockwork?

That sounds about right. You're not about to believe me though. Try it out.

Edit: actually this might work now. For the last ver (1.0.2) it wouldn't.

Really? Ok well as I edited a few minutes ago, there was a chance this might work. Some stuff was changed that means. On the previois versions, this would not work. We had two(I think, maybe only one) other thread on this. He did the same thing, but it wouldn't work.

I am downloading it right now to check this out. On a side note can you post just the Pandora and Facebook skinned versions for us on Cyanogen?

Maybe I'll give this a shot. Currently I'm running 5.0.4.1 and my biggest beef is that idle cell radio is eating my battery at about 30%...which is 10X what I am seeing on Chevy's SS 2.0.2 2.1 ROM. I have also experienced a few random re-boots. I really like the NexTheme. The rcimage tool makes switching between sprecovery and clockwork a little less painful.

Once you have this up an configured nandroid backups/recovery work fine...it's the flashing piece you will need clockwork for (updates and so forth)
