"Deletes All Apps That Can Be Obtained From The Market"

Im interested in the mod as i have been having issues lately with my phone that are almost like a computer being out of ram. The freeing up phone internal memory is what im most interested in. But can you elaborate on this line quoted from the changelog?

Im currently running PE 4.2 (i think... whatever the latest is). I guess im just worried that im going to have to relearn everything? Or is this a background mod that i really will only have to do stuff with if i want to?

Hmm... that's odd! With all the files the MOD deletes and the amount of files it re-locates to your SD card, that almost seems impossible! Especially since there isn't even 10MB worth of data being pushed to the internal memory (more like 5-6MB), and the rest of the files from the package are pushed to the SD.

No idea. I don't recall making any modifications that would make ROM Manager run any differently. I also don't know about the Genie Widget -- but my assumption is that some files can be moved to data/apps on some ROMs, but won't work on others. Can someone confirm this?

You'll have to Google it, never heard of that phone. But if you have a custom recovery then you should be able to do the Nandroid backup.

How does it not work? Please give me some more information.

The MOD deletes all apps that can be obtained through the Android Market. So, for instance, if your ROM comes with Gmail, then the MOD will delete it from the System partition. It won't touch it in the data partition unless the user has installed an addon package that specifically removes a certain file. You won't have to "re-learn" anything. It doesn't change your operating system or add any visible additional features.

So I guess the Rom Manager thing was probably unrelated, reinstalled and it worked fine. However the News and Weather is still gone, is there any way to turn off that being moved? Its not a huge deal but I use that pretty often and I really like the idea of what this mod does

I think you are asking in the wrong forum. You will have to find a site dedicated to your phone.

    Google Search

Only one issue, I'm running MIUI 1.1.28, is there any way to return Google search to default? MIUI search never seems to work for me.

This means you do not have a custom recovery.
