Is anyone ROOTING when reverting to .211 or are u waiting for OTA to arrive and then rooting once JB installed via carrier? To root first or not to root? A Tale of 2 Cities was easier to follow . LOL!LOL!

Consider that all root methods are exploits of some back door in the OS. The developer will try to close all the doors. Hackers will try to find new ones.
So, who knows what will or will not work?

I agree with Moset but in the interest of attempting to answer. I would wait to root after the JB update.

Worked with the regular RAZR.
Rooted, installed and ran voodoo. Did ota update, then went back bin to voodoo and reestablished root.
Worked like a charm

Thanks folks. A few different responses, some say: Wait for OTA, then root. Others suggest that their experience with pre-OTA rooting worked fine. End result-I'm not sure of what to expect taking either path.
