I recently post about bricking my droid. I was convinced it was dead in the water. I was finally able to flash from another computer and it indeed worked.
As always, answers generally create more questions.
I got the phone back to 2.0 from another computer. Knowing that once I rooted the phone I would undoubtedly be at my computer for everything else I would do on the phone such as backups, roms, etc. I tried to finish the process from my computer, could not get through the custom recovery step. Is my computer still an issue? Could it be USB issues? Could installing a new better USB port possibly help? If I get rooted, back up, add roms from another computer, will I have problems in the future?
Don't get me wrong, I know that I very well may be the "issue", but who would want to admit that:icon_eek:. I am very(understatement) new to this, but would like to learn and move forward.
