Um selling the CLNR device is not a good idea. If for some reason Verizon finds damage on your other S3 they will require you to send the CLNR back or pay full retail price for the phone. Just a suggestion, wait about a month before you sell the CLNR.

Youre right, I dont need to sell it right away so I will wait. My original was in immaculate condition never dropped or wet or anything (other than the garbage software build) so im sure it will clear inspection just fine.......but I still think thats really good advice. These days you never know what kind of crap big red might try to pull. I dont trust or appreciate them the way I once did many years ago.

I was reading through everyone's comments and wanted to let you know Verizon posted a fix at the bottom of the page here: https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/799719
It describes how to flash your version to the VRBMB1. You have to download the stock firmware and Odin. Working so far for me and my battery is not draining. Hope this helps someone.

I will start by saying that these are not instruction from Verizon and you risk damaging your phone if you try them. That said, I just followed them and am back to the "good" version of the software without ever having rooted. Thanks Fungi!

Not sent from a IPhone :)

The latest update rolled us back to the previous broadband and base build: VRBMF1. This puts us back to where we were prior to the last update. The additional apps that were loaded (e.g., Multi Window) appear to have remained installed.
