Issue with ringer volume buttons

Hi, not sure this is the right forum but here goes....
Last week I dropped my droid x in the toilet. I put it in rice for several days, it dried out and works perfectly...well, except for one thing. The ringer volume buttons seem to have taken on a life of their own. They spontaneously change the volume without me even touching the phone, then seem to get stuck on vibrate. I'm afraid to take the phone apart for fear that I might do more damage. Has anyone had this happen? Does anyone have advice?

I did have that happen but it was from an ill fitting body glove case(must have been putting too much pressure on phone some where)...was the weirdest thing I ever saw replaced the case and it was fine.

Hum, I don't have a case so nothing is pressing on the buttons from the outside.

Well your first problem is ur a proud Idaho vandel, which is pretty disturbing in it self.
