Issue Downloading Applications

As of yesterday I have been unable to download apps from the market. I get "Download error- Download was unsuccessful, please try again." I have my background data enabled, I can use my internet, I even tried downloading connecting to wifi.. any suggestions?

What app(s) are you trying to download? I can't download the new Google Maps no matter what I try. Have you tried restarting your phone?

Yeah I did. I had tried downloading a bunch of different ones but what fixed it was deleting the data and cache for the market (going into settings then manage applications) and then rebooting my phone.. I hope that will work for you too

Are you on a ROM? I got that same error with Google Maps. I reinstalled a new rom without any google maps or flash and they updated without any issues.
