I don't know how you technically define "hotspot" but the wireless tether app does what I think you want. You're wanting to take your Droid and have your Touch browse the internet via going through the Droid's 3G, right? If so, you can do that with the wifi tether app. Do a search for it and you can DL it and install. Or get one of the OC kernels that include the tethering app.

I'm not sure if you can have more than one other device tethered at the same time. I may try and see how many devices I can connect to mine at once.

Yes, if you root and get the Wifi Tether app, it will essentially turn your Droid into a Wifi Hotspot allowing multiple users to connect and use your 3g. It's also very easy to setup and use.

I do exactly that when I'm bored at work.

It takes a while to get an entire album and will chew through your phone's battery if it's not plugged in, but it's a good setup if you have no other means of connecting to the internet

@ Yakuz the Cyanogen ROM supports USB TETHER which is what icculusx is talking about.. WiFi Tether is exactly that WiFi....

to the OP YES ROOTED DROID = WIFI HOTSPOT WHERE EVER YOU HAVE 3G SIGNAL USING THE "WiFi Tether" app.

Good to know. Point taken, I understand it might have been a dumb statement, but I didn't know anything about tethering. Now I learned, yey!
