Is there usually a long lag to recieve e-mails on Droid?

Just got this thing a few days ago. Added like 8 e-mail accounts.

the first couple days i was getting all my e-mails very quickly. now, i haven't been getting them or there is a serious delay in getting them. i tested and e-mail about 10 minutes now and still haven't recieved.

Is this normal for it to sometimes have a lag? What would account for this? And, is there anything I can do to fix this?

i do usually have at least 3 bars of 3G signal.

Yes you would receive if you have one bar, from my experience. I have Yahoo account that gives me problems. I'll get emails for awhile, then they'll stop. Only fix I've found is to remove the battery then put it back in. I would also check your account settings to make sure everything cool.
