Hey guys, I have a friend who has not made it to his upgrade yet and still has his Dorid 1. He loves it but really wants to root it. I found the z4root for my Droid 2, but cant dig up how to tell him how to root his phone...I am not very computer savvy, so please help with an easy solution if there is one?? Thanks!!

I don't think there is. There's something that sounds like a 1 touch but it really isn't. I'm afraid you'll have to do it the hard way if your D1 is up to date.

As far as something like Z4Root, no.

There is Superoneclick. Go to their website and follow the instructions. Super one click only refers to the actual rooting, not to the other software you have to put on your computer. It was a pretty easy process when I did it.
